Ana is the Artistic Director of Metta, at Assumption College, San Lorenzo, Makati, Philippines, where she directs and teaches.
She was also an adjunct faculty of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) for many years where she taught team communication and innovation. Ana has written several books: Theater for Wellness, Workshop: A Manual On Acting and Evolutionary Theater. She has taught acting for PETA, Trumpets, Ateneo, Tanghalang Pilipino CCP, New Voice Co, Atlantis, and many other professional companies in the Philippines.
She is a recipient of the St. Marie Eugenie Award and Assumption Christian Educator’s award. She is a graduate of Theater from the Juilliard School in New York and was featured as one of 100 alumni in the Juilliard centennial (100 years) magazine. She is a recipient of the William and Eva Fox Foundation and Tiampo Grant.
Ana received her professional diploma in Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has traveled and lived abroad for more than 25 years but now resides in Manila with her family.
Ana has directed many plays including Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, As You Like It, All's Well that Ends Well, Ring Round The Moon, Top Girls, Middle of Silence, and Drakula.
Currently, Ana teaches Awakening Theater at Assumption college.
